Program G:

Artificial Intelligence with Python

Learning more deeply and thoroughly with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and make related projects with the new interesting knowledge.

Key Information:

  • For ages 13-16 (No age restriction for Telebort alumni).

  • 24 lessons (Weekly classes).

  • Prerequisite required (Either one of the criteria below is fulfilled): 

    • Completed Telebort Core Program F.

    • Having existing knowledge in programming.

New Intake:

  • July 2022

    • 3rd July 2022 (Tentative) 

    • Every Sunday 2PM - 4PM or 5PM - 7PM

About this Program

In Program G, students will be able to learn Artificial Intelligence (AI) and make related projects. They will be able to know the process of Machine Learning from getting data, converting data, training the machine with suitable model and testing for output. Moreover, they are exposed to Natural Language Processing, Text Recognition, Image Recognition and many more AI-related projects.
 
This program is exclusively designed for students to learn AI concepts such as Machine learning, Deep Learning, Text Recognition, Image Recognition, etc. At the same time, they can create many AI-related projects via different Python AI libraries.

Course Structure

  • Duration: 24 lessons
  • Hour per lesson: 2 hours
  • Teacher-students ratio: 1 Teacher - 15 Students (Maximum)
  • Class size: minimum 20, maximum 34
  • Suggested Age: 13 to 16 years old (No age restriction for Telebort alumni)
  • Prerequisite (Either one of the criteria below is fulfilled): 
    • Completed Telebort Core Program F.
    • Having existing knowledge in programming.

  • Chapter 4: NLP & Text Recognition

  • Chapter 5: KNN and Popular Classifiers

  • Chapter 6: Text Classification

Theme 3: Machine Learning with Scikit-Learn

  • Chapter 7: Artificial Neural Network

  • Chapter 8: Image Classification process with TensorFlow

  • Chapter 9: CNN classifier

Theme 4: Computer Vision with OpenCV 

  • Chapter 10: Computer Vision

  • Chapter 11: OpenCV

  • Chapter 12: Color Conversion and Detection with OpenCV

  • Chapter 13: Haar-cascade Detection in OpenCV

Projects that you will build

Emotion Detection

Create a model to detect the emotion of a human sentence. You can process the sentence to be understandable by machine.

All this can be done by using the Natural Language Processing techniques and Python package: Scikit Learn.

Chatbot

Create a chatbot to chat with you! You can train your chatbot to learn human chat and reply with suitable responses.

All this can be done by using the Natural Language Processing techniques and Python package: Scikit Learn.

Hand Gesture Classification

Create a model to classify Human Hand Gesture. You can train your model to identify the image and classify the image into the correct category. 


All this can be done by using the Image Classification techniques and Python package: TensorFlow.

Face Detector

Create a model to detect human faces on an image or video. You train your model to identify human faces and show the output on the image.
 
All this can be done by using the Object Detection techniques and Python package: OpenCV-Python.
